Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related degree from an accredited program.
• 8 years of leadership experience preferred; 7 years minimum.
• Experience with mine permitting, reclamation, remediation and mine infrastructure.
• Experience with tailing and heap leach mining is a plus.
• Ability to serve as primary client contact and develop relationships.
• Demonstrated progressive experience in the mining industry.
• Must be resourceful, highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering technical and management leadership for mine permitting, reclamation, and remediation. Includes business development.
• Plans, organizes and implements business development activities for targeted growth markets.
• Directs conceptual studies, design, field investigation, and construction support in mining.
• Direct coordination with clients; assist with contract negotiations and preparation.
• Mentor and guide less experienced designers and engineers; interface with suppliers and other disciplines.
• Ensure effective change management and maintain a focus on safety.
