Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Mine Account Manager to join our team in Elko, Nevada. The role requires a driven sales professional with 8+ years in mining or related field, capable of providing technical service and managing key mining accounts.

The candidate will monitor sales targets, report product activities, and strive to grow Bridgestone/Firestone OTR tire business and Mobility Solutions with strong customer relationships. Significant travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (Engineering, Sales, or Mining Engineering preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive responsibility in a mining environment.
• Excellent knowledge of field engineering techniques.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to travel 50%-75% travel.
• Team-player.
• Ability to display professional conduct and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Strong negotiation, prioritization, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Increase Bridgestone's market share in OTR Tires and Mobility Solutions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with mining companies to grow business.
• Monitor and report product performance, including technology sales and data, at mining locations.
• Identify opportunities for product and customer improvements.
• Analyze factors affecting product performance and report.
• Compare Bridgestone/Firestone tire performance to competitors.
• Improve tire performance and reduce total cost of ownership.
• Educate dealers and end users on safety and tire knowledge.
• Conduct scrap tire analysis and report needed product changes.
• Forecast and manage supply for mine sites.
