Hudbay is seeking a Mine Operations Trainer I for the Copper World Project near Sahuarita, Arizona. The role focuses on developing and delivering training for mine operations personnel, with emphasis on safe operation of equipment and competency assessments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with five years of related mine operational experience.
• Experience delivering training packages using adult learning theories/styles.
• Experience with general earthwork and mining equipment and supervision.
• Supervisory and leadership experience.
• Ability to travel for training and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing training programs for Copper World Projects.
• Coach operators in safe and efficient operation of mobile equipment (classroom and field).
• Conduct competency assessments and document SOP compliance.
• Maintain training records and develop new training materials.
• Collaborate with Mine Operations to meet production goals and drive improvement.
