Job summary

Dietzler Companies invites aspiring engineers for a Mine or Mechanical Engineering Intern position focused on surface mining, aggregate production, and heavy equipment operations. You will work with experienced engineers and site managers at quarry sites and plants, supporting mine planning, data analysis, and equipment performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mining or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in outdoor quarry environments and travel to CO/WY sites.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mine planning and pit development at plant sites in CO/WY.
• Support production data analysis and equipment performance reviews.
• Participate in inspections of quarry, plant, and equipment.
• Assist with geological, geotechnical evaluations and regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams on improvement projects.
• Support safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
