Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support mining operations in Soda Springs, Idaho. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining heavy equipment, performing inspections, and ensuring safe production through proactive maintenance and timely repairs.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of mining/heavy industry experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work flexible shifts. OSHA/MSHA compliance and excellent teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience with OSHA/MSHA regulatory requirements.
• 1–3 years’ experience in mining/heavy industry preferred.
• Working knowledge of safety systems and processes.
• Attention to detail in complex maintenance tasks.
• Strong communication skills and reliable teamwork.
• Willingness to be flexible on daily duties and shifts.
• Diploma or equivalent in heavy equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment to high standards and ensure safe production.
• Perform quality pre-operation inspections on mobile equipment.
• Assist with MSHA regulatory training and compliance.
• Support near-miss reporting and site safety initiatives.
• Travel to support timelines and production requirements as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
