Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proven experience as a drill operator in mining or similar setting.
• Ability to read and interpret drilling plans, blueprints, and manuals.
• Experience maintaining drilling equipment and performing routine checks.
• Strong safety focus and adherence to regulations.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate drilling rigs in a mining environment.
• Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on drilling equipment.
• Interpret drill plans and follow specifications for operations.
• Monitor the drilling process and adjust for safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team to coordinate drilling activities.
