You’ll supervise and coordinate the safe operation of an assigned work unit, overseeing staff, implementing production plans, and directing remedial actions as needed, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with 5 years of related supervisory experience, or a technical bachelor’s with internship experience in mining.

• High School diploma or GED with five years of supervisory/lead experience.
• Bachelor’s in mining/technical discipline with at least one internship in mining/industrial environment including supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and control safe, efficient operation of an assigned work unit.
• Assign, supervise and review staff work; implement production plans per schedules.
• Inspect progress, direct remedial action, manage resources and train staff in safety.
• Maintain safety data sheets and reports; perform other duties as required.
