Placements24 is seeking a Mine Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at operations near East London. You will ensure reliability of mining equipment, supervise staff, manage schedules, and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance while upholding safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and proven leadership in a mining or heavy-industrial setting, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement within East London operations.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications or a relevant technical diploma.
• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory maintenance role.
• Experience in mining or heavy equipment repair preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Proven leadership and ability to motivate a maintenance team.
• Familiarity with safety procedures in workshop and field environments.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills for East London operations.
