Job summary

CTI, Inc. is hiring a full-time Lube & Tire Tech for our Morenci, AZ fleet maintenance team. The role offers a $20/hour base rate with DOE and extra pay for CDL holders or certified welders.

A $300 quarterly safety bonus, boot program, tool allowance, and strong benefits are provided. Expect day shift, 4:30am–2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime possible. Experience in lube and tire tech is preferred, along with knowledge of diesel/heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver License
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Knowledge of tires and services and basic mechanic experience with the ability to troubleshoot
• One year experience lube and tire tech, preferred
• Basic understanding of diesel/heavy equipment
• Must have your own set of entry-level tools
• No moving violations in 3 years and no major violations in 5 years
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Must wear steel-toed safety boots

Responsibilities

• Commitment to safety in all tasks and maintain a clean, safe work area
• Operate and troubleshoot entry-level mechanical tools
• Lubricate moving parts and change oil, fuel, water and air filters
• Perform tire service including changing, repairing, rotating
• Assist with maintenance tasks and service calls
• Input data into maintenance software and manage parts from stock
• Observe equipment for safety and report issues promptly
• Support other maintenance personnel as needed
