Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is seeking a Mine Engineer Leader to provide planning, design support, and leadership for mining operations and mineral projects. The role drives safe, efficient development of mines, ore reserves, and capital projects.

You will lead planning activities, coordinate with operations, and deliver economic analyses and design standards while mentoring the Mine Engineering team and collaborating with in-house suppliers and management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mine Engineering or related field.
10+ years in Mine Engineering and Operations with leadership experience.
Experience in planning, design, and economic mineral evaluations.

Responsibilities

Direct, coordinate, and participate on mine planning activities to meet plans and budgets.
Lead in mine engineering and design contributions for business development initiatives.
Develop economic mineral evaluations and mine design models.
Develop standards of essential planning activities and install best practices.
Coordinate between mine engineering and operations for execution and monitoring of mine plans.
Mentor and develop Mine Engineering resources through training and open communication.
