Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is seeking an Electrician to join our Maintenance team and maintain plant electrical systems to maximize processing efficiency at surface mining facilities.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, calibration, and process control instrumentation to support safe and reliable operations. The ideal candidate holds a 2-year electrical degree or equivalent experience, is a licensed Electrician, and may hold a Journeyman’s card.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-year technical degree in Electrical or comparable experience.
• Certified/licensed Electrician preferred.
• Journeyman’s card preferred.
• Experience with PLCs is a plus.
• Experience in the aggregate industry for at least 1 year is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and safety are essential.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate in-house electrical repairs and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls and drives.
• Research potential automation upgrades to improve safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering to meet deadlines and capital project needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
