Job summary

Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is seeking an Electrician to join our Maintenance team to maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and develop process control instrumentation for optimum efficiency in mining operations at surface facilities.

The role involves coordinating electrical repairs, troubleshooting PLCs, and supporting capital projects with engineering; a 2-year electrical degree and a valid license are preferred, with journeyman status a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree in Electrical or comparable experience.
• Certified/licensed Electrician with Journeyman card preferred.
• Experience with PLCs is a plus; mine-industry experience preferred.
• 1 year of experience in aggregate or similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate in-house electrical repairs and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC motor controls and drives.
• Research potential automation upgrades to improve safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering on capital projects.
