Job summary

ALO is seeking a Store Manager in Boston to own and drive the store’s business. You will lead Sales, Operations and Visual teams, set strategy, and ensure a high-performance, inclusive environment aligned with our mindful movement mission.

You’ll manage schedules, oversee profitability, and coach staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining strong visual standards and adherence to company guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail or related industry leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Highly motivated by driving business in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
• Independent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountability.
• Aligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles.
• Business owner mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Requires constant movement in and around all areas of store.
• Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder.
• Ability to stand and move for an entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the store’s retail strategies.
• Local market knowledge of clientele base and brand competitors.
• Aware of business trends that relate to the store’s success.
• Demonstrate KPI-driven business acumen to support strategies.
• Lead team by leveraging tools, incentives & strategies to meet sales goals.
• Ensure the store team communicates ALO’s mission to guests.
• Foster growth, accountability and inclusivity via development and coaching.
• Plan talent progression and retention strategies across key roles.
• Build internal and external pipelines through succession planning.
