Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Social Work with Texas licensure eligibility.
• Texas license (LPC, LCSW, or psychologist) required or ability to obtain within one year.
• Experience in college/university counseling settings and with disordered eating/body image is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, prevention and outreach services to undergraduate and graduate students with emphasis on disordered eating and body image issues.
• Conduct initial assessments and maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with center policies.
• Develop and implement programmatic interventions addressing psycho-social mental health needs of students.
• Offer clinical supervision to interns/practicum students and coordinate referrals with CMHC and university partners.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and campus departments to promote student well-being.
