University of Texas at Austin seeks a CARE Coordinator (LPC, LCSW, PhD) for the College of Liberal Arts. The role embeds licensed mental health providers in colleges to deliver short-term counseling, case management and outreach to students across campus.

The position requires licensure eligibility in Texas, strong crisis response, and collaboration with CMHC and university partners. On-site work at UT Austin with full-time hours and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Social Work.
• Licensure as LPC, LCSW, or Psychologist; eligibility for Texas licensure within one year.
• Experience in high-demand outpatient mental health settings is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse student populations and campus partners.
• Experience providing crisis intervention, care coordination, and brief therapy.

Responsabilités

• Provide short-term individual and group counseling to UT Austin students.
• Perform crisis intervention, case management and outreach within the college.
• Coordinate referrals between CMHC and university/community providers.
• Develop trainings and workshops on mental health for students, staff and faculty.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with policies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within CMHC and campus partners.
