Job summary

KLA Industries in Rockford, IL is seeking a MIM Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day Metal Injection Molding production and act as the technical authority for MIM processes. You will coordinate operations with engineering, ensuring high quality, on-time delivery, and cost-effective manufacturing.

The role requires hands-on leadership of a technical team, collaboration with metallurgists, and active involvement in project execution to support current and future growth initiatives in MIM.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Metal Injection Molding (MIM) processing, including feedstock, molding, debinding, sintering.
• Demonstrated leadership of technical personnel within a manufacturing setting.
• Solid understanding of metallurgical and materials principles applied to MIM.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day MIM production operations and serve as technical leader for MIM processes.
• Bridge operations and engineering to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Oversee a team of technical experts and collaborate with metallurgists and customers on project execution.
• Report to engineering leadership and align with growth initiatives in MIM.
