Wilson Elser in Milwaukee is seeking a Litigation Summer Law Clerk to support a fast-paced civil litigation team. You will assist with legal research, drafting pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation under seasoned attorneys.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized second-year law student with strong writing and research skills, available 20 hours/week in our Milwaukee office, with hybrid flexibility and exposure to state and federal matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Currently enrolled as a second-year law student for the 2024-2025 academic year at an accredited law school.
• Strong interest in litigation and trial practice; familiarity with litigation processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth legal and factual research to support active cases.
• Analyze legal and factual issues to provide insights for case strategies.
• Review documents for relevancy and legal issues, ensuring accuracy.
• Assist with discovery processes, trial preparation, and related tasks.
