Job summary

Vallourec North America in Houston, TX is seeking a maintenance Millwright. You’ll replace defective parts, align machinery, test units, and perform welding, fabrication, and installation of equipment as part of a skilled team.

The role requires 1–2 years of Millwright experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to work 12-hour day/night shifts, weekends, and overtime. We offer comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years Millwright experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Candidates will pass pre-employment background, drug and work screen.
• Must be available to work 12-hour day and night shifts, weekends, call-outs and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Replace defective parts of machines or adjust clearances and alignment.
• Align machines and equipment using hand tools, squares, and measuring instruments.
• Connect power units to machines and test mechanical operation.
• Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
• Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools.
• Lay out mounting holes and drill as required.
• Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Dismantle machines for shipment or maintenance as part of a team.
