Job summary
BlueScope is seeking a skilled Millwright to support CPNA Maintenance & Engineering by installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical production equipment and plant infrastructure. You will work with operations, engineering, reliability, planning, and maintenance teams to maximize equipment availability and safe operations.
The role requires 5+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance, reading blueprints, hydraulics and gearboxes, and experience with SAP CMMS.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
- 2 years blueprint reading and 2 years millwright experience.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes and power transmission.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, repair and modify production equipment and utilities.
- Diagnose failures in hydraulics, bearings, gearboxes, drive trains and conveyors.
- Perform precision maintenance like alignment and torqueing.
- Read and update mechanical drawings and maintenance instructions.
- Support outage planning, start-up and safe return to service.
