Job summary

BlueScope seeks a skilled Millwright to join our CPNA Maintenance & Engineering team. The role focuses on safely installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving mechanical production equipment, utility systems, and plant infrastructure.

You will support reliability initiatives and outage execution to maximize equipment availability. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial mechanical maintenance, 2 years reading blueprints, and experience with hydraulics, pneumatics,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 5 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
Minimum 2 years blueprint/drawing reading experience and 2 years millwright experience.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, and power transmission equipment.
Proficiency with SAP or a CMMS for maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production equipment across CPNA facilities.
Diagnose failures involving hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, and drive systems.
Read, interpret, and update mechanical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
Participate in outage planning, shutdown execution, and start-up activities.
