PBF Energy Martinez Refinery in California is seeking a Millwright Mechanic to maintain, repair and overhaul critical equipment, including pumps, turbines, gearboxes, and motors. The role requires 4+ years of Millwright/Mechanical Journeyman experience, a valid driver’s license, and a TWIC card or ability to obtain one.

Expect a 9/80 schedule, callout coverage, and work in shop or field environments. Pre-employment tests and drug screening are part of the process.

Qualifications

• 4+ years Millwright/Mechanical Journeyman level work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and overhaul process rotating machinery in a shop and field environment.
• Use standard hand tools and battery-operated tools.
• Use precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, protractors, indicators).
• Interpret tolerances and dimensions from drawings, sketches, and engineering documents.
• Operate shop support equipment (saws, forklifts, overhead cranes, hydraulic presses, bearing heaters, torches, etc.).
