Job summary

ASR Group in California seeks a maintenance technician to ensure equipment runs reliably and safely. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor to keep assigned refinery equipment in top condition and support daily plant operations.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year in industrial maintenance, willingness to work overtime and weekends, and the PPE-focused safety mindset required in a refinery environment. Competitive hourly pay and union setting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance or service organization.
• Ability to work overtime, rotating shifts and weekends.
• Must wear PPE and maintain safety standards.
• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance services through the refinery.
• Performs mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance, including rigging, metal fabrication and repairs (welding/burning), pipe installation and repairs, and building crafts work.
• Perform cleaning and lubrication on mechanical equipment.
• Work with other refinery maintenance and operations personnel to handle normal everyday problems.
• Assigned to one of the maintenance groups: refinery maintenance, warehouse, pipe/metal, building crafts, garage and raw sugar maintenance.
