Job summary

Highland FR seeks a skilled Millwright/Industrial Mechanic to execute maintenance schedules and troubleshoot equipment. You will analyze blueprints, schematics, and layouts while applying hydraulics and lubrication knowledge to improve reliability.

The role requires safe, timely work and participation in continuous improvement projects. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years in the field, and OSHA 10; willingness to work extended hours and heights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or college preferred.
• Minimum 3 years as Millwright/Industrial Mechanic.
• One year of in-plant manufacturing experience.
• Independent problem solving; implement practical solutions.
• Compliance with LOTO, confined space, hot work, heights policies.

Responsibilities

• Execute Planned and Preventative Maintenance schedule.
• Troubleshoot by applying critical thinking to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Analyze blueprints, schematics, and layout plans.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hydraulics, lubrication, and mechanical equipment.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and workstations; ensure safety and timeliness.
• Record labor, materials, and equipment used; communicate deficiencies.
• Participate in 5S, root cause analysis, and focused improvement projects.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
