Millwright Tech

The Millwright plays a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment within manufacturing and production facilities. This position ensures that all machinery operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. The Millwright will work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform precise alignments, and install new equipment according to technical specifications. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are paramount to prevent accidents and maintain compliance with industry standards. Ultimately, the Millwright contributes to the seamless operation of industrial processes by applying expert mechanical skills and problem‑solving abilities.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent technical training.
• Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar mechanical maintenance role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Crane and rigging experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
