Job summary

Collins is a family-owned producer of softwood and hardwood products with facilities in Chester, California, Lakeview, Oregon and Kane, Pennsylvania. The Millwright I position provides maintenance, installation and operational services for manufacturing systems at the Kane facility. On-site presence is essential and duties include safety compliance, troubleshooting, fabrication and preventive maintenance. Lead status may involve acting as a senior contact and coordinating with supervision.

Qualifications

• Two years of previous experience preferred.
• Possess a basic ability: welding, cutting, fitting, lubrication, troubleshooting equipment and systems, or component maintenance.
• Possess the basic tools related to the trade.
• Must be able to properly read a tape measure.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety standards at all times and report hazards.
• Troubleshoot, install, replace, and repair manufacturing systems and equipment.
• Fabricate parts and assemble machinery as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on rolling stock.
• Document work order progress using the maintenance tracking system.
• On-site attendance is essential to perform the listed duties and responsibilities.
