Job summary

Janicki Industries is seeking a Millwright to install, maintain, and repair machinery including 5-axis mills and waterjets at our Sedro‑Woolley, Washington site. You will perform PMI inspections and help keep production running smoothly, with on-call rotations as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and a technical certificate is preferred. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and leadership abilities are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; a 2-year technical certificate is preferred.
• 1–5 years of experience in the field or related area is preferred, depending on level.
• Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• Proficient at troubleshooting in the field.
• Strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude are essential.
• Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs machinery including 5-axis mills, waterjets, vacuum pumps, cranes, etc.
• Performs PMI and services on equipment with hand/power tools and man lifts.
• Operates and/or secures overhead cranes, forklifts, and lifts (certification or ability to certify).
• Maintains equipment uptime by coordinating with supervisors and leadership to minimize downtime.
• Mentors and assists millwrights; may provide on-the-job training.
• Works under pressure, meets deadlines, and maintains good attendance.
