Job summary

Trillium Construction is now hiring Iron Workers and Millwrights for projects in the Brownsville, TX area. Work is Monday through Saturday, 6am–6pm, with 70–78 hours per week and a pay rate of $35–$40 per hour depending on experience. A per diem of $125 is provided for all days on site.

The project is scheduled to run for one month. Candidates must have 2+ years of iron work or millwright experience, credentials to access the site, and the ability to work at heights up to 325 feet and pass

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Iron Work or Millwright experience.
• Credentials to access the site are required.
• Must be able to work at heights up to 325 feet and pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark crane runway locations.
• Install rail beams, clips, ties, and support structures.
• Set and align crane rails to engineering specifications.
• Bold, and fasten rail components.
• Use laser alignment and surveying equipment.
• Follow OSHA and site-specific safety procedures.
• Work from heights and in industrial environments.
