Job summary

West Fraser in Dudley, GA is seeking a skilled Millwright Level 2 to maintain industrial equipment and conveyors across our wood products manufacturing operations. This on-site role requires a seasoned candidate with at least five years of millwright experience in a production setting.

You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance, read drawings, adjust alignments, and work with hoists, hand tools, and power tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of Millwright experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Must be safety oriented and comply with company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial equipment including conveyors and major machine centers.
• Read and understand drawings and printed instructions.
• Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks.
• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools and precision instruments.
• Lay out mounting holes and drill with a power drill.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance within the maintenance program.
