Job summary

West Fraser is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Millwright) in Guntown, MS. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

The role requires reading blueprints, using measurement tools, and working in a 12-hour rotating shift environment. This is an on-site position with full-time hours and opportunities for growth within a large, diversified wood

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and manuals.
• Proactive maintenance mindset and strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems and equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on drives, motors, belts, and hydraulics.
• Read blueprints and repair manuals to locate and fix faults.
• Use CMMS to write work orders and track maintenance activities.
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts in a 24/7 operation.
