Job summary

Stella-Jones is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to sustain plant processing equipment across a Tacoma, WA facility. You will inspect, service, repair and fabricate equipment, manage parts inventory, and execute the preventive maintenance program while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Maintains plant processing equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Welding and fabrication of processing equipment as needed.
• Maintains inventory of serviceable parts for equipment.
• Follows the Preventive Maintenance Program and safety policies.
• Documents maintenance work and communicates future requirements promptly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, repair and construct plant processing equipment, including structures, utilities, loaders, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, mechanical, and pressure vessel work throughout the plant.
• Utilize welding and fabrication tools to alter, repair and fabricate processing equipment.
• Manage inventory of serviceable parts required to maintain equipment.
• Perform the Preventive Maintenance Program established by the Company.
• Document and report maintenance work performed and advise of future requirements in a timely manner.
• Participate and contribute to Company safety program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
