Job summary

Qualifications

Some construction experience preferred.
Understanding of blueprints and schematic drawings to determine procedures.
Experience with hand tools, power tools, hoists, jacks, squares, rules, laser alignment machines, optical levels, and plumb bobs.
Experience using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Good troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with installing machinery and equipment according to layout plans and drawings.
Dismantle and repair machinery using hand tools.
Move machinery using winches, jacks, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
Assemble and install machinery such as shafts, conveyors, pumps, and motors with tools.
Construct foundations for machines using wood, cement, and steel.
Set base plates, line and level, and install grout beneath them.
Assist with installing couplings and bearings.
