Job summary

CL Construction is seeking an experienced Millwright Foreman to lead field crews on agricultural and industrial installation, maintenance, and repair projects. This hands-on leader will supervise crews, coordinate activities, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion.

The role requires 3+ years of millwright or related experience, at least 1 year in a foreman position, blueprint reading ability, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of millwright, industrial construction, mechanical installation, or related experience.
• At least 1 year of experience leading crews, supervising employees, or serving in a foreman role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Experience working in agricultural facilities, grain handling systems, feed mills, processing plants, or industrial environments preferred.
• Welding experience, including stick welding, is preferred. AWS certification is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily field operations on millwright installation and maintenance projects.
• Supervise, mentor, and support millwright crews in the field.
• Perform hands-on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial and agricultural equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and customers to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Monitor productivity, labor hours, materials, and equipment usage.
• Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining project quality and deadlines.
• Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and training to ensure compliance with company and customer safety standards.
