Vallourec - North America is seeking a Millwright Apprentice to join a structured, hands-on training program registered with the State of Ohio Apprenticeship Council. This role blends on‑the‑job training with classroom instruction to prepare for a long-term career as a certified Millwright in a safety‑driven manufacturing setting.

You will assist in installation, alignment, maintenance, and repair of industrial systems, read blueprints, and work with precision tools while following OSHA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a pre-apprenticeship or vocational training program.
• Ability to enroll in and complete a registered apprenticeship program.
• Basic math, reading, and mechanical reasoning skills.
• Basic computer skills; maintenance systems experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, alignment, maintenance, and repair of industrial mechanical systems and equipment.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities under supervision.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
• Learn and apply diagnostic tools and software for monitoring system operations.
• Record maintenance activities in the CMMS and track parts usage.
• Communicate effectively during shift handovers and with engineering staff.
• Provide feedback on training materials and apprenticeship processes.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
