Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Mount Holly, NC is seeking a skilled Millwright to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues and help ensure equipment reliability and safety to keep production moving.

The role requires hands-on welding and burning operations, installation of motors and equipment per blueprints, and the ability to work second or third shift.

Qualifications

• Four years minimum maintenance experience or Journeyman card.
• Working knowledge of industrial maintenance (electrical and mechanical).
• High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred.
• Practical knowledge of Preventative Maintenance Systems and Root Cause Failure Analysis.
• Ability to work second or third shift.
• Attached resume required.

Responsibilities

• Performs burning and welding operations to fabricate and repair parts.
• Install motors, machinery, and equipment per layouts and drawings.
• Operate and maintain piping systems 2
• Paint and surface finish as directed.
• Perform mechanical maintenance from work orders and written or verbal instructions.
