Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a skilled Millwright to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing setting near Mount Holly, NC. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, and ensure equipment reliability and safety to support production.

The role requires experience with welding, fabrication, and mechanical systems, plus the ability to work second or third shift.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of maintenance experience or a Journeyman card.
• Working knowledge of industrial maintenance (electrical and mechanical technologies).
• Must have a high school diploma; an associate degree is preferred.
• Practical knowledge of Preventative Maintenance Systems and Root Cause Failure Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Install motors, machinery, and equipment according to layouts, blueprints and drawings.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
• Perform welding, fabricating, and painting operations as directed.
• Run threaded piping systems (2 inches and smaller) and support preventive maintenance orders.
