Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a skilled Millwright to dismantle machinery, transfer equipment, interpret blueprints and install equipment. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of hydraulics, belt systems, motors and related mechanical systems, and can troubleshoot with minimal supervision.

The role requires teamwork, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to make decisions, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance within a dynamic industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a millwright or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of equipment and machinery.
• Excellent mathematical skills.
• Able to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Trouble shoots maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing and equipment repair or replacement.
• Help maintain equipment parts lists and perform daily PMs on equipment.
• Assist in set-up of equipment as needed.
• Adheres to company safety, environmental and property protection policies and complies with appropriate codes on work performed.
• Occasional heavy lifting, pulling, pushing, stooping, climbing, reaching, bending and working in awkward positions are required.
• Must be flexible, problem solving oriented, acceptable to change and display initiative to learn and make improvements in the workplace
