Job summary

Qualifications

• Four years troubleshooting electrical controls and PLCs in an industrial facility.
• Must demonstrate safe use of various meters and gauges.
• Safe and proper installation techniques for power systems wiring, including running conduit.
• Full working knowledge of the NEC and power distribution systems.
• High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• Journeyman card or Bona Fide Apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to work second or third shift.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems for plant equipment and systems using PLC equipment.
• Calculate circuit sizes, wire and conduit per NEC.
• Provide electrical instruction from prints, sketches and verbally.
• Trace and sketch electrical circuit components and their wiring.
• Read wiring schematics, Ladder diagrams and PLC programs.
• Input documentation for PLC programs.
• Perform other duties using mechanical knowledge to repair other mechanical and hydraulic equipment as well as electrical equipment.
