Job summary

Fluor Corporation seeks a skilled millwright for a 24x7 heavy industry site. You will perform maintenance on pumps, motors, and related equipment, with welding, rigging, and alignment tasks as part of daily duties. Flexibility in hours and availability for call-ins is required.

Ideal candidates have strong precision maintenance knowledge and at least five years of preventive maintenance experience, plus the ability to read complex layouts and equipment specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5 years of preventive maintenance experience is required.
• Knowledge of precision maintenance with bearings, couplings, gearboxes, seals, bushings, shrink fits, torque, pumps and rotating equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret building layouts, system drawings and manufacturers’ equipment specifications.
• Knowledge of standard and specialized maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Complies with Fluor Corporation safety requirements and programs.
• Performs mechanical maintenance on pumps, motors and related equipment.
• Welding, rigging, alignment tasks as part of maintenance activities.
• Performs precision maintenance including bearings, couplings, gearboxes, seals and lubrication.
