Job Description

Perform millwright job duties in a team environment at a heavy industry work site which operates 24x7. Requires ability to work flexible hours as needed and be available for call-ins as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Complies with all Fluor Corporation safety requirements and programs.
• Position requires mechanical aptitude to perform technical and general maintenance work on a variety of pumps (including centrifugal, injector, diaphragm, etc.), motors, equipment, systems, air handlers, domestic water, chilled water, hot water, high temperature hot water, steam, humidification, building exhaust fans, air compressors and controls.
• Perform Precision Maintenance with bearings, couplings, gearboxes, seals, bushings, interference fits, torque, pumps, rotating equipment, lubrication, etc.
• Perform the following duties: Welding, Rigging, Alignment.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED).
• 5 years of preventive maintenance experience required.
• Must have knowledge of Precision Maintenance with bearings, couplings, gearboxes, seals, bushings, shrink fits, torque, pumps, rotating equipment, lubrication, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret building layouts, system drawings, and manufacturers’ equipment specifications.
• Knowledge of standard and specialized maintenance practices.

Language Skills

Ability to write, read and comprehend instructions, work orders, manuals, short correspondence and memos.
