Job summary

Craftworks USA, a Rycon Construction subsidiary, seeks a Millwork Drafting Submittals Manager for its Oakdale, PA division. You will own the submittal process, coordinate drafting across internal and external teams, and ensure buildable, clear drawings that align with project scope.

Ideal candidates have strong millwork experience, advanced AutoCAD skills, and a pragmatic, collaborative approach to fast-paced environments and design-build projects.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in architectural millwork, casework, or custom fabrication.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications with clarity.
• Advanced AutoCAD (or similar) proficiency.
• Ability to develop practical, buildable solutions not just replicate drawings.
• Self-driven mindset with the ability to make decisions and move work forward.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, variable environment that requires adaptability.
• Experience with Innergy.
• Experience working with outsourced drafting resources.
• Design-build or high variability project experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the submittal process from scope release through client approval.
• Plan and assign drafting work across internal team and external partners.
• Review drawings for buildability, clarity, and completeness.
• Ensure drawings reflect scope and avoid unnecessary complexity.
• Translate inconsistent architectural inputs into consistent outputs.
• Coordinate with Project Managers on submittal schedules.
• Identify ambiguities or incomplete information and drive resolution.
• Develop and apply build methods to common conditions.
• Step in as a drafting/design resource when needed.
