Boise Cascade is seeking a Millwork Sales Lead to drive sales support, coordinate promotions, and monitor profitability across the millwork portfolio. The role requires collaboration with vendors, sales reps, and customers to ensure timely, accurate data in systems.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent in related function.
• Experience coordinating sales and marketing programs.
• Ability to analyze product sales and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales and marketing support for Millwork programs.
• Monitor product sales, gross profit, and promotions.
• Develop and communicate strategic team goals to maximize profit.
• Maintain product information, price lists, and BOMs in system.
• Liaise with vendors, reps, and customers for accurate data.
• Assist inside sales with calls and quotes.
• Keep knowledge of competitor products up to date.
• Analyze opportunities and coordinate merchandising and promotions.
• Provide training to customers, staff, and vendors.
• Develop promotions and co-op administration.
• Train millwork sales staff and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Manage multi-family quotes and builder program pricing.
• Oversee home center and select window/door accounts.
• Demonstrate safety and continuous improvement commitment.

Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Millwork Sales Lead!

Responsibilities

• Provide sales and marketing support and coordination of programs and promotions for the Millwork business.
• Monitor and track product sales, gross profit, product mix, promotional events, growth, and call planning.
• Assist in developing and communicating strategic team goals that maximize profit in sales territory.
• Provide information systems support, maintain current product information, price list, and bill of materials in system.
• Serve as a liaison with vendors, sales representatives and customers ensuring timely and accurate data in systems.
• Assist inside sales team with customer sales calls and provide quotes.
• Maintain knowledge of competitor products.
• Analyze new business opportunities, implement, and coordinate merchandising, updating customers on new and existing products, promotions, and services.
• Provide training to customers, Boise Cascade staff, and vendors.
• Develops promotions and administers co-op.
• Develop, administer, and track training for millwork sales department.
• Responsible for all multi-family quotes and customer and builder program pricing.
• Manages home center and select window/door accounts.
• Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

College Degree or equivalent work experience in related job function. Working conditions are an office environment with minimal physical exertion.

Preferred Qualifications

Typically more than ten (10) years of experience in related job function.
