Job summary

Starlite Building Services seeks a Boston-based Millwork Project Manager to oversee all millwork projects, supervise carpentry crews, and drive profitability. You will set up projects, prepare estimates, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain strong client and architect relations to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include risk assessment, scope alignment, and coordinating with operations to optimize site logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction related field or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in Millwork Project Management
• Detailed knowledge of all trades: scope, time frames/field execution, typical missed scope/exposures
• Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of estimating processes and delivery methods
• Experience managing a variety of projects in a rapidly growing organization is critical
• Extensive experience maintaining project budgets and schedules
• Knowledge of contract types and deal structures
• Management experience: coaching, feedback delivery, delegating and mentorship preferred
• Demonstrated communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• General Contractor or subcontractor experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Seeks to gain and use information to produce a quality estimate.
• Complete a thorough review of documents to reflect conversations with client, Architect and Engineer.
• Inspect site to understand how it affects contract scope and plan site logistics.
• Identify and ensure trade timeframes/execution align with project schedule.
• Drive profitability and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project.
• Lead job and project team to deliver projects the Starlite way.
• Execute pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction services.
