Protouch Staffing seeks an experienced supervisor in Maryland to oversee high-end millwork production. You will interpret architectural and shop drawings, coordinate complex custom projects, and guide technical decision-making across engineering and project teams.

Responsibilities emphasize craftsmanship, safety leadership, and staff development. A strong background in joinery, hardwoods, veneers, and woodworking machinery is essential for success in this role.

• Ability to read and use drawings, work orders, schedules, specs and records.
• Ability to organize work, set priorities and follow through.
• Ability to coach employees and document performance professionally.
• Working computer skills for workflow, labor, documentation and communication.
• Strong safety orientation and good problem-solving ability.

• Ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain advanced knowledge of drawings, joinery, and high-end millwork standards.
• Coordinate complex custom work based on priorities and material readiness.
• Provide technical direction on construction methods and sequencing.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Project teams for clarifications or changes.
• Maintain craftsmanship standards and address fit/ finish concerns.
• Develop bench mechanics across levels, mentoring for leadership readiness.
• Lead safety practices and ensure corrective actions are followed.
• Manage department workflow and completion targets.
• Coach employees and support progression through training.
