Job summary

McKenzie Craft, a millwork shop in Miami, seeks an Assistant Production Coordinator to keep schedules aligned with on-floor execution. You will track work orders, stage materials, and ensure timely procurement so nothing stalls the line.

You will partner with project managers, engineering, and the floor, while upholding safety standards and accurate inventory for smooth delivery of finished goods.

Qualifications

• Degree in business administration, engineering, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluency with shop drawings, RFI records, and project paperwork.
• Strong Excel skills for schedule tracking and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Build and track production schedules against project timelines.
• Coordinate shop floor workflow so daily goals and work orders stay aligned.
• Serve as Safety Officer, running audits and safety training.
• Receive incoming materials to the correct work order and keep inventory records accurate.
• Flag long lead time materials early and keep master notes current.
• Stage, pack, label, and dispatch finished goods for outbound delivery.
• Carry technical requirements between project managers, engineering, and the floor.
• Check millwork quality at every stage and keep the documentation clean.
