Job summary

Millwork Sales, an SBP brand, is seeking a Production Associate to join our values-based organization. You will load, unload, sort, stage, transport and handle products that come into and move out of the warehouse, contributing to a safe, efficient operation.

Mid shift starting at 3pm, you will follow routings, assemble sub-assemblies from raw materials, label and pack finished goods, track production on schedules and communicate issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior lumber experience desired. Engineered Lumber experience is preferred.
• Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have basic math and analytical skills.
• Must be computer literate, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Self-starter, pro-active and able to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Reads routing and performs work as assigned by department supervisor.
• Assembles materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished product from raw materials.
• Attach labels and tags to products and packages.
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
• Track production on schedule boards.
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Place finished goods on the designated pallet.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
