Job summary

Bayer Built Woodworks in Belgrade, MN is seeking a Millwork Order Specialist to manage millwork orders from inquiry to completion, collaborating with outside sales, vendors, and internal teams to ensure accurate quotes, timely delivery, and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience in millwork, building materials, residential construction, or special-order processing preferred.
• Working knowledge of doors, trim, mouldings, and related millwork products.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when reviewing specifications, measurements, quotes, and order documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and internal departments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the outside sales team to assist with problem-solving, quoting, product selection, training, and customer support.
• Process and manage special orders for millwork products, including doors, trim, exterior units, and related materials.
• Review order specifications, measurements, product details, pricing, and lead times to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers regarding product availability, order status, delivery schedules, and discrepancies.
• Provide ongoing product education and training for lumberyards, customers, and team members to strengthen product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate order records, documentation, and information within company systems.
