Millwork Material Handler (Swing Shift; 3PM-11:30PM)

Join Boise Cascade Company as a Millwork Material Handler on the Swing Shift (3PM-11:30PM).

Position Details

Indoor warehouse environment. Starting pay: $22.00/hour + DOE, depending on experience, plus $1.00/hr shift differential and bonus. Full-time with overtime available. Benefits start day 1.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Swing Shift

Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials and finished products to/from machinery, equipment, and storage areas.
• Load and unload inventory as needed.
• Apply mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Manage and report on production, quality, and order fulfillment performance.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow safety protocols in compliance with OSHA.
• Train, supervise, and oversee work of others, ensuring work meets specifications.
• Assist with customer communication regarding fabrication processes.
• Manage raw materials and finished goods inventory, reorder materials, and maintain pricing.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic: HS Diploma, GED, or two years of related work experience. Ability to understand and communicate safety and work instructions. Physical exertion required in all weather conditions.

Preferred: Over three years of related experience; technical certification or associate degree may be preferred.
