Job summary

Boise Cascade is hiring a Millwork Material Handler for an on-site, full-time role in Boise, Idaho. You will transport raw materials and finished products, load/unload inventory and support safety and quality initiatives in a busy warehouse setting.

Basic qualifications include a HS Diploma or GED or two years of related work experience; preferred candidates may have 3+ years in the field and possibly a technical certification or an associate degree. We offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications include HS Diploma, GED or two years equivalent work experience.
• Working conditions in a warehouse with physical exertion and outdoor weather.
• Preferred qualifications include 3+ years in related function and possible technical certification or associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials and finished products to and from machinery, equipment and storage area.
• Load and unload inventory as needed.
• Apply and understand mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
• Follow safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• May train others and ensure work is complete and built to order specifications.
• May be responsible for raw materials and finished goods inventory and materials order replenishment.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness and continuous process improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

HS Diploma, GED or two years equivalent work experience

Associates degree or technical certification (Preferred)
