Job summary

Boise Cascade is seeking a Millwork Material Handler to support warehouse operations. You will transport materials to and from machinery, load/unload inventory, and perform accurate material handling in a busy warehouse environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (or two years related experience), basic math skills, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. This is a full-time, on-site position with included benefits and opportunities for safety and efficiency

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or two years related work experience.
• Ability to understand safety and other work-related instructions.
• Working conditions are in a warehouse environment with physical exertion; will perform duties in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials and finished products to and from machinery, equipment and storage area.
• Load and unload inventory as needed.
• Apply and understand mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
• Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
• Follow safety programs and ensure OSHA regulation compliance.
• May train others and ensure work is built to order specifications.
• May be responsible for raw materials and finished goods inventory, and materials order replenishment.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: HS Diploma, GED or two (2) years equivalent work experience. Must be able to understand and communicate safety and other work-related instructions. Working Conditions are in a warehouse operations environment with considerable physical exertion. Will perform duties in all weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications: Typically more than three (3) years of experience in related job function. Role may require technical certification, or associates degree.
