Boise Cascade in Dallas, TX is seeking a Material Handler [Forklift Operator] to receive, move, and load building materials in a high-traffic warehouse.

You will operate sit-down or counterbalance forklifts, verify orders after packing, and provide friendly service to internal and external customers while keeping safety at the forefront.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to OSHA guidelines, and daily housekeeping, with a strong commitment to reliable, safe material handling.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety/work instructions.
  • Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions.

Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Material Handler [Forklift Operator],

Responsibilities
  • Receive, select, and load materials.
  • Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Verify accuracy of orders after packaging and loading.
  • Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Work with other team members to fulfill orders and complete tasks daily.
  • Maintain clean working area.
  • Follow all safety procedures (OSHA compliance).
  • Perform daily safety checks on forklifts.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience.Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions.Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions.Ability to use hand tools and chainsaw.

Preferred Qualifications: Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance).Familiarity with building materials.Able to measure and calculate material lengths.

Work Environment: High traffic warehouse and yard. Physically demanding; outdoors in all weather conditions.
